WELCOME TO SUSHI OKALANI

Okalani, serving family-style Japanese and Pan-Pacific inspired food and fun to Hood River Oregon and the surrounding Columbia River Gorge. A local's favorite since 2005, we share your passion for "Work hard, Play Hard" and all that the Gorge lifestyle has to offer. Whether you came for the surf, snow, trails or waterfalls, you'll want to make dinner at Sushi Okalani part of your Gorge experience. Our private Tatami rooms, and a rockin' atmosphere make it the best spot to replenish after a hard day of playing. Come and share your stoke with others, get the latest in snow/wind/trail conditions, or just sit back and watch the chefs perform their magic. We offer traditional and American-style sushi, also Hawaiian, Japanese, and Thai food from the kitchen: soups, salads, tempura, stir-fry, curry too, fun specials, and an extensive Sake list!

Reservation policy. Groups of 6 or more can make a reservation, up to 20 people. We suggest calling early in the week if you are looking for a weekend reservation. There are typically 2 seatings for the Tatami rooms, so please do not request times between 6:30 and 7:00 inclusive. We allow 2 hours for seatings in those rooms.

We have added back more seats, and so will be returning to using a wait list for walk-ins and smaller groups. Please do not call in to be put on the wait list! We need people in person to take the first available seats. We reserve the right to hold larger tables to accommodate larger groups on the list.

We will continue to take calls for take-out at 4:00, but reserve the right to limit take-out once our dining room fills up. Curb-side pick-up has been eliminated, so please come in to pick up your order.
